Senior Flutter Developer – Web Application 8 views

You’ll take an existing Flutter application and rebuild it into a polished, production-ready desktop web experience – owning the codebase end-to-end, implementing new authentication logic, and delivering something you’ll be genuinely proud to ship.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Rebuild and adapt an existing Flutter web application to match approved desktop designs – replacing a mobile-oriented layout with a proper, high-quality browser experience.Implement responsive and adaptive layouts using LayoutBuilder, MediaQuery, breakpoints, and adaptive widgets – optimized for mouse and keyboard interaction across desktop, tablet, and varying browser window sizes.
• Build and implement a delegate-access authentication model – allowing an assistant user to access and manage the application on behalf of multiple accounts with appropriate permissions and account-switching.
• Integrate and validate the Microsoft Dataverse Web API in a browser context – including Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) OAuth flows, browser-based redirects, CORS handling, and secure token storage.
• Audit existing third-party packages and plugins for web compatibility, replacing or re-implementing anything that is mobile-only.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and solid performance across Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox.
• Collaborate with the Product Manager and QA through testing, UAT, and release – keeping communication clear and delivery on track.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong, demonstrable Flutter/Dart expertise – and a portfolio that proves it.
• Proven experience building or shipping Flutter web applications – not just mobile.
• Strong responsive and adaptive UI skills in Flutter – you know how to build layouts that behave correctly across screen sizes and browser windows.
• Solid Flutter architecture and state management experience – BLoC, Riverpod, or Provider – with clean separation of business logic from UI.
• Experience integrating REST/OData APIs, ideally Microsoft Dataverse, Dynamics 365, or the Power Platform.
• Hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0 and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) authentication in a web context – redirects, CORS, token management, and secure storage.
• Experience implementing role-based access, delegated permissions, or multi-account switching features.
• Familiarity with deploying and hosting Flutter web builds, strong Git discipline, and clear written communication.
• Nice to have: Flutter web performance optimization, experience in legal or compliance-sensitive environments, familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards, or CI/CD pipeline experience for Flutter web.
