Covers the institution’s legal activities regarding the following areas listed below:
– Relationships with IuteCredit customers referring legal issues
– Court procedures for cases initiated by or against the institution
– Legal services support for internal processes and institution’s departments and branches


· Provides legal advice and assistance in the institution
· Prepares legal documents needed
· Participates in legal procedures
· Prepares files and pleads cases in civil or administrative courts
· Develops company policies and opinions on legal issues
· Collaborate with external attorneys when needed
· Actively participates and supports the processes for applying and obtaining licenses for the activity of the companies in the different jurisdictions within his/her competence
· Compiles/reviews/revises/updates all the contractual agreements of the institution with third parties (borrowers, dealers, service providers, sponsorship beneficiaries etc.)
· Assists, advises, consults all other institution’ departments on their concerns/issues regarding business transactions, third parties’ complaints, claims or lawsuits
· Opines on draft laws, rules, and regulations
· Provides regulatory updates to Chief Legal Officer


Education / Further training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law
  • Lawyer’s license

Working Experience:

  • Minimum 5 (five) years of experience as lawyer and related fields, preferably in financial institutions.

Specific knowledge:
· Profound knowledge of the applicable norms and regulatory rules and good practices in the area
· Very good knowledge of Institution’s products & services, Institution’s procedures and guidelines, Local regulatory framework, Group policies and procedures.
· Strong analytical skills required to organize and analyze multiple, complex data sets as well as strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

· Computer literacy essential (MS Office).

·Strong technical skills.

· Strong ability to quickly grasp and understand business unit specific legal risks, develop comprehensive user requirements, and provide recommendations for appropriate automated solutions to mitigate those risks.
· Excellent knowledge of English Language.
