The Casino Cage Cashier is responsible for finalizing cash payment to customers, maintaining the balance, and interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Responsibilities:
- Calculates totals for customers’ chips and pays out cash for chips collected;
- Ensures that cash drawer is balanced at all times and makes exchanges with the vault when necessary;
- Verifies identification of customers requesting cash advances;
- Completes transactions accurately throughout shift;
- Keeps and updates an accurate report of the cash and chips received and distributed;
- Operates credit card processing equipment, coin sorting and wrapping machines, and other cashier equipment;
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Your profile:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Courteous and professional manner;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Proficient in using a 10-key calculator and other office equipment;
- Ability to count money accurately and quickly;
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and noisy environment.
*In this position, you would be required to work various shifts and weekends.
