Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of cloud-based software solutions using Java 17 and Spring Boot 3.
- Design and implement scalable and resilient microservices architectures for cloud-native applications.
- Utilize MongoDB/DocumentDB, Python, ETL Glue, Mongo Query Language, AWS Lambda, and AWS Step Function for Data Transformation and Management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, architect solutions, and deliver high-quality software products.
- Implement best practices for cloud software development, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated testing.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for security, performance, and scalability.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to promote skill development and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in cloud computing and incorporate them into our development processes.
Preferred Technical Skills:
- Experience with MySQL is considered an advantage, but not required.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.
- Knowledge and experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka are desirable.
- Experience developing event-driven services is preferred but not mandatory.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in cloud software development.
- Advanced proficiency in Java 17 and Spring Boot 3.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native development principles.
- Experience with MongoDB/DocumentDB, Python, ETL Glue, Mongo Query Language, AWS Lambda, and AWS Step Function is required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
