Position: Reporting and Controlling Senior Specialist
Department: Finance
Location: ACREM Offices, Tirana
Summary of the Position
Reporting and Controlling Specialist serves as a supporting role for the Finance Manager to ensure quality financial reporting, financial analysis, and budget controlling for the Company to monitor performance.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Prepares monthly/quarterly internal reports, evaluate the variances compared to approved budget and require additional information from business units within required deadlines;
- Analyzes OPEX lines and propose potential OPEX savings;
- Develop and maintain cost accounting system according to procedures and policies, propose recommendations and changes;
- Monitoring of intercompany transactions database;
- Assists in ad-hoc analysis on companies for specific performance issues;
- Prepare monthly reporting package within required deadlines by Group;
- Participate in company budgeting process and mid-term plans;
- Prepare business valuations for potential expansion plans;
- Revise and update internal procedure of Finance department;
- Assists during audit processes, preparation of year-end financial statements and provide the necessary information to the auditor (Internal or External;
- Implements New International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and working papers for monthly and yearend reports;
- Maintains IFRS 16 tool and prepare required internal reports based on standard requirements;
- Coordinate the project of Fiscalisation;
- Other job-related duties required by Finance Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance required.
- Previous experience with a big four audit firm is an advantage.
- ACCA diploma or under way is a preference.
- At least 3 years of progressive experience in accounting with a strong emphasis on the Financial Analysis and Reporting.
- At least 3 years of prior experience in medium and/or large company.
- Strong analytical/quantitative skills and experience with a multi-site organization.
- Experience in presenting and preparing proposals and recommendations.
- Very attentive to details.
- Strongly result oriented, able to work unsupervised.
- Internally motivated to seek out answers, generate ideas, and develop new skills.
- Excellent command of English language.
- Knowledge of finance programs such as: NAVISION & Finance 5.
