We are looking for individuals who are ambitious with attention to detail, and willing to learn to fill in the position of Logistics Manager. A logistics manager supervises the movement, distribution, and storage of supplies and materials in a company. They are tasked with planning routes, analyzing budgets, and processing shipments. Also known as supply chain managers, they generally form part of middle management. They will install and maintain computer systems and networks aiming for the highest functionality. They will also “train” users of the systems to make appropriate and safe usage of the IT infrastructure.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing general office operation.
  • Purchasing office supplies and equipment and maintaining proper stock levels.
  • Producing reports, composing correspondence, and drafting new contracts.
  • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers, etc.).
  • Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards, etc.) to ensure functionality.
  • Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications.
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging, etc.).
  • Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule.
  • Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders.
  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints.

  • Organizing and managing inventory.

Requirements

  • Proven working experience as an IT and/or Logistics Manager.
  • BS in Business Administration or IT.
  • Record of successful distribution and logistics management.
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff.
  • Proficient in standard logistics software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
  • Ability to work 03:00 PM- 11:00 PM.
  • Ability to work 6 days a week.
  • Must be able to type 50 wpm.
