Assistant Regional Manager for Albania and Kosovo
Responsibilities and job description:
- Structured analysis of the energy market in Albania and Kosovo.
- Monitoring all the rules, regulations and decisions of relevant institutions and assist in ensuring company operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Investigation of business opportunities in the field of electricity market, PPA, RES projects and Battery Storage.
- Handle communication with local institutions, relevant authorities and similar involved parties as well as submission of relevant reports and documents in accordance with related rules and regulations.
- Direct communication with all involved parties and execution of responsibilities daily, weekly and monthly deals, under supervision and guidelines from Trading Department and Regional Manager for Albania and Kosovo.
- Assist with new projects implementation.
- Manage back office support for GEN-I Tirana: preparation for tender participation; post contractual activity (e.g. annexes, collaterals, settle invoices, etc.); monitoring performance of the contracts.
- Administrative support in terms of infrastructure readiness and/or adjustments, tax and customs duties, as well as support with internal administrative issues.
- Local Office Administrative Support (e.g. purchase of office materials, handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, etc.).
- Help monitor and track operational expenses; assist in preparing budget reports.
- Coordination of activities between GEN-I Tirana, GEN-I Tirana Kosovo Branch and the Head Quarter of the company in Slovenia.
Candidates should:
- have university degree in technical, economics or legal sciences,
- be fluent in Albanian and English language,
- have good communication skills (spoken and written), good organization skills, dedication to work and willingness to teamwork,
- be proactive, self-initiative, reliable and attentive to details,
- have a strong logical thinking and inventive person,
- be flexible and adaptable to changing work environment,
- master the MS Office tools,
- readiness for acquiring new knowledge and skills,
- able to react and participation in solving complex issues in regular situations and possible emergencies,
- be available to travel inside Albania and Kosovo and abroad (particularly in Slovenia),
- be available to spend up to one month in the company Head Quarter in Slovenia for training period,
- work experience: mandatory, at least two years in electricity production/trading/supply environment,
- knowledge about renewable energy production industry is an advantage.
