Experienced Developer in C++ 83 views

Our team of 40+ people is looking for an experienced C++ colleague to join our R&D team full time. We are on the lookout for a software developer with a passion for solving difficult problems and curiosity to learn more about VOIP and real-time communication.

Here is a brief overview of the role:

• You’ll be contributing to the decision-making process by helping us analyze requirements and implementing the best possible solution for the problem
• You’ll also be doing code reviews for your partners in crime
• You’ll have daily meetings with the team on technical and other valuable topics, you’d be given the opportunity to share your ideas and make proposals
• Jira will be your friend for getting assigned tasks and marking their progress
• And yes, writing tests and API documentation is inevitable
• Last, but not least – you’ll be working in a team with awesome people

What we certainly need for you to join us:

• 3+ years of JavaScript application development experience
• Back-end development with Node.js, Express and Mongoose
• Experience building RESTful APIs
• Experience with third-party API integrations
• Experience with (or at least good understanding of) Microservice Architecture
• Ability to understand and debug large and complex code bases
• Attention to details
• Basic verbal and written command of the English language is a must

It would be great if you have also played with or have some interest in:

• Docker and basic ci/cd
• RabbitMQ
• Chai and Mocha

Who we are:
We are the creators of the Zoiper softphone applications and SDK, ever since 2003. We also created Banafo recently – training our own speech recognition models and delivering them as a service.

Location:
Initially, you will be working remotely from Albania with flexible working hours.
